Mouse sails
I spent my childhood around the Mouse Sails loft, which had
been set up by my parents.
Sunny days and summer holidays I was always outside exploring,
looking for shells or sea glass on the beach.
Rainy days and winters I would make a den in the corner of the loft,
be given scraps of canvas and sail cloth to make something with.
Fast forward to today and I still love foraging on the beaches,
upcycling & repairing sails and canvas into a new life.

Margaret Hinds is a member of the North Wales Craftmakers association and makes all of her products at her home on the beautiful island of Anglesey.

All the driftwood and other raw materials are whenever possible sourced from Anglesey beaches while out walking my dog. Each piece is individually created.
